oh eight bringeth news

Since nobody really reads these days, here's a speedy version of what's happening:

gubbins: Closed down while a whole new edition is hewn from the living rock.
r&m lyrics: MP3 links are working again, and there's youtube videos where I could find them. Expect updates in the coming months.
ask philip: Freed from the shackles from gubbins, it's now its very own section and is ready for new questions.

Keep watching the skies!

!blog is here

It's been a while since the last update, so let's get straight into it.

There's a new blog in town, and its name is !blog, or notablog. It's a gag, of sorts. Go see www.mousehands.co.uk/!blog/ for all kinds of fun.

In other news... If you know mousehands from the R&M lyrics site, you may be able to help. It's been a while since I really cared about the site and with the demise of most (if not all) of the other R&M sites and the rise of YouTube, its time may be up. If you have any thoughts at all about this, get in touch with me at philip@mousehands.co.uk (don't reply to this update email) and let me know what you think.

Philip

do you pay peanuts?

Today marks the dawn of a new age. The kind of age where you can walk through any part of town at night in search of mind-altering substances without worrying about your safety; an age where monkeys operate update lists for slightly amusing web site.

Well, mostly the latter.

Yes, it's the launch of the new update list system, promised in the last mousehands update and only about a year late. That you can see at updatemonkey.mousehands.net - it's monkeyliscious.

I would now like to ask for your suggestions. The R&M site, and especially gubbins, are both in need of some face-lifting and that will hopefully happen sometime soon. What I would ask of you is any suggestions on how to improve them or any complaints you have about how they work.

Until next time, whenever that might be!

Philip (and my associate, the update monkey)
